Dive Conditions: Good visibility and moderate currents in Cocos, a little less clear and variable currents in Malpelo. Surface temperatures always 26 or 27 degrees. Often a thermocline around 22 degrees and 30 meters depths.
Weather: Mostly overcastted skies, frequent rainshowers, not much sun. Winds sometimes weak and sometimes strong.
Crossings: First moderate, later bumpy crossing from Panama to Cocos, moderate journey from Cocos to Malpelo including some fast sailing, sometimes moderate and sometimes bumpy crossing from Malpelo back to Panama
Highlights: Perfect 1 hour baitball with many Dolphins, Silky Sharks and Yellowfin Tuna. 5 Whaleshark encounters in Malpelo, sometimes very near. Snorckeling with Dolphins. Snorckeling with Silkies. Many Galapagos Sharks at Los Tres Mosqueteros. Hammerheads close at La Nevera.
